Jas 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things OUGHT NOT TO BE!

Pro 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Each of us must make a choice to use our tongue in a manner that it creates LIFE and not DEATH. Gods word leads us to believe that our words have creative power. Let's all choose life and share what Jesus has done for us rather than using our tongue for criticism ,lying, and cutting down our brother or sister and spreading death. Let us all ask God to to soften our hearts , for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. At the end of the day ask yourselves did you pass the mouth test...was your mouth BITTER OR BETTER...YOUR CHOICE

I am a part of the "Fellowship of the Unashamed." I have Holy Spirit Power. The die has been cast. I've stepped over the line. The decision has been made I am a disciple of His. I wont look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals!!!

I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, rewarded. I know live by presence, walk by faith, love by patience, live by prayer and labor by power and love.

My face is set, my gait is fast, my goals are being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few, my guide reliable. My mission is clear, I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander at the maze of mediocrity.

I wont give up, shut up, let up or slow up till I've preached up , prayed up, paid up,stored up, and stated up for the cause of Christ. I am a Disciple of Jesus i must go till he comes, gives till it hurts, preach till all know, and work till He stops.

And when He comes to get his own, He will have no problems recognizing me, my colors will be clear.

THAT MAKES IT CLEAR...DOESN'T IT?

Apart from Christ we are nothing. Without the motivating power of God's love our personal pursuits , passions and desires are all uncertain. The redeeming value of useful service motivated by the love of Christ is a sure and certain endevour; certain to have eternal benifits. YES...we are our brothers keeper, and in order to do so we must put aside all selfish and childish motivations. God's Word says...

1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Dog...The Sequel

This is Twilia...apparently the sequel to Buck the Golden/lab mix we were blessed to to give a home for a couple days until the owners found him. Twilia is an Alaskan Malamute that undoubtedly will be used as stress releiver for all of us who are going through some growing pains. She is already making herself at home here at The Sheepgate and we are all looking forward to growing with her- She is a Blessing already

Gods will for the church...all the church!

Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Is your church operating in the grace of Jesus Christ and the power made possible by the finished work on the CROSS?

Isa 58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

Is your church feeding the hungry? Is your church clothing the naked?

Isa 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

Is your church built of vessels of honor? And does your church shine with the RIGHTEOUSNESS and GLORY of the finished work of the CROSS?

Isa 58:9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

Isa 58:10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:

Does your Church shine with the Glory of GOD?

Prodigal principles

It is not how we start...but how we finish, always remembering that God sees the beginning from the end. We can all learn from the prodigal son in LK 15:17-20. These are the Prodigal Principles.

1. We must come to the end of ourselves first


2. We must speak it-"I will arise and go to my father..."


3. We must humble ourselves-although the prodigal worked in "pig slop", it still required a degree of humility to return to the father because of pride


4. We must repent-
   

   And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.



5. 
   

   We must do what we say we are going to do.



6. 
   

   We must accept the good-Join the party or more accurately realize that the heavenly host are rejoicing when we repent

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible

The Just shall live by faith...It is the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross that allows us to have a right relationship with God himself. The finished work of the Cross was the ultimate act of unconditional love that God has for us. God commanded His love towards us that while we were yet sinners, that while we were yet dope addicts, that while we were yet alcoholics, that while we were yet prostitutes, God sent His son, the perfect sinless sacrifice to die for us , to pay the penalty for our sin past , present , future, redeeming us back to the Father. From this point forth all our work should be motivated with the sole purpose of lifting His name on High! Christ in you the Hope of Glory!

OUTREACH 2010-PALM GARDEN NURSUNG HOME

Our first outreach to the Palm Garden nursing home was blessed time of fellowship in which Christ was Glorified in song and fellowship. We beleive that each outreach we do will be another opportunity for God to be Glorified and another seed of revival will be planted. Please cover our efforts with prayer as we are obedient to what we believe the Lord will have us do.

Hello Neighbor campaign

Sometimes a re -introduction is necessary in order to discharge any assignment of the adversary disguised as status -normal. Teams were sent out today two by two with a two fold purpose; to evangelize and promote/market though a (re) introduction within the community. It went well and we are on the way to not only opening the eyes of this spiritually sleepy community but plant SEEDS OF REVIVAL. Please cover these efforts in prayer, the devil is pissed off and tried to stifle this effort today by miscommunication,accusation,physical sickness, and all sorts of distractions...BUT the Good News is we countered the devil and his assignments against us with prayer from our Pastor, Hawk-I, The Word and Praise and Worship led by Bill. We can only imagine what our soverign God will do with our efforts. I suppose we will plan the plan ...but not plan the outcome.
